Things to know before your visit to Breaux Vineyards

Days

Our busiest days and times are Saturdays between 1:30pm and 5:00pm and Sundays between 2:30pm and 5:00pm. There is often a short wait to taste the wines during that time period. We strive to assist all of our patrons in a timely manner.

Alcohol

When planning to visit Breaux Vineyards, please remember that the only alcohol that is permitted is Breaux Vineyards wine. This is a law and we are regulated by Virginia Department of ABC. Please do not bring any other alcohol including but not limited to previously purchased Breaux Vineyards wine, wine from another vineyard, beer, hard alcohol, champagne or wine coolers. Failure to abide by these laws subjects us to hefty fines and a loss of our license. Violators will be asked to leave the property immediately.

Groups

We welcome your group to share a quiet outing at our tasting room/winery complex and enjoy the beautiful countryside, but please no organized parties without prior arrangements. If you are a group of 6 people or larger, please contact our Tasting Room Team at (540) 668-6299 ext. 210 or 203.

To make a reservation we do require a credit card that will be charged for a deposit. If your group is running late, please call us at (540)668-6299 to alert a member of our staff. All reservations are rain or shine, so please plan accordingly. Reservation cancellations or modifications must be done 48 hours in advance to the set reservation date.

Food

We sell a wide selection of gourmet, light fare foods in our tasting room (including freshly baked bread) to accompany our fine wines all days of the week. Our kitchen is open 7 days a week from 11 AM until 5:00 PM. Check out the kitchen food menu here: Breaux Vineyards Food & Wine Menu. We welcome our guests to bring food from home, but please read and understand the following restrictions:

  • Food brought with you to Breaux Vineyards is to be kept on our outdoor areas only and is not permitted in our Tasting Room.
  • For larger groups (over 8) we ask that you enjoy your picnic on our picnic grounds and not our patio. You can pre-order food for groups from us, please contact us in advance of your stay.
  • If you bring catering trays, deli trays or boxed lunches with you to enjoy on our picnic grounds, we ask that you please also bring a trash bag with you for their disposal. Please do not try to stuff them into our trash barrels as they will not fit. If you would kindly bag your own catering tray/boxed lunch trash, we will place it in our dumpster for you. This will help us keep our grounds neat and tidy for our other guests.

Dogs

Breaux Vineyards welcomes friendly, leashed dogs who are current on all vaccinations and have no history of aggression to the outdoor areas of our public spaces. The exception to the outdoor spaces where dogs are welcomed is our Orleans Patio. The Orleans Patio space is reserved for customers without dogs and for those 21 and above only. *No pets are allowed on ticketed festival days.
