This is not your average Breaux wine tasting! This specialty tasting is an amazing opportunity to experience wines that are like no others. Each are made in a way that styles them as unique Breaux creations. This special tasting will be held at 12pm, 12:45pm, 1:30pm & 2:15pm Sunday, July 29 and cost $20 per person $18 for cellar club members.
This tasting will include our:
Vin Gris – Our white Malbec: a Malbec unlike any other, made using white wine techniques.
Vieux Carre – Our “orange” wine. Made from white grapes using red wine techniques.
Vidal Barrique – Now for something completely different! A Vidal Blanc wine that has been oak barrel aged.
Jolie Blonde – A wine made from a grape disappearing from Virginia, Seyval Blanc.
Extend Age Sparkling – A methode champenois style sparkling wine, meaning a secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, made from Vidal Banc grapes.
6 Degrees – A Cellar Club selection not usually available to the general public. Made from a blend of Nebbiolo and Barbera grapes, Italian varietals not widely grown in Virginia.
Orleans – A summery sweet version of Vidal Blanc.
We will be offering an additional 5% off our usual bottle discounts for any of these wines purchased after this tasting. 5% off 1 – 5 bottles, 15% 6 – 11 bottles, 20% off 12+ bottles
